These Terms & Conditions apply whenever you use Velto, its related site pages, and any optional service features.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the Service means Velto, its site pages, profile tools, language-practice tools, AI-assisted translation, optional purchases, and support processes made available through the app.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Velto, you accept these Terms and agree to follow them each time you use the Service.

3. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal language-practice, translation, profile, and account-related purposes. Do not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with operations, or use the Service to submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for the account information you provide, for activity that occurs through your account, and for keeping your access methods secure.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and original service materials, belongs to Velto or its licensors. You keep ownership of the text, audio-derived input, images, and other materials you submit, and you authorize us to process them only as needed to provide the language-practice, translation, purchase, and support features you request.

6. Translation Inputs, Images, and User Materials

You remain responsible for the text, spoken input, images, and other materials you submit for language practice, translation, or AI-assisted replies. Do not use the Service with unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material, and make sure you have the rights needed for the content you choose to submit or translate.

7. Purchases and Credits

Some features may require an in-app purchase through Apple and the App Store. Any coins or other virtual goods are consumable digital items, are not redeemable for cash, and may be subject to final sale or non-refundable rules except where law requires otherwise. You are responsible for reviewing purchase details before checkout, and you should use the restore flow when eligible.

8. AI Translation Permitted Use and Output Limits

Some parts of the Service may rely on AI-assisted translation, model, or external third-party provider features. Those translation features are provided only for user-initiated consumer translation of copied text, spoken notes, care labels, signs, captions, and similar informational content. Translated results may vary, are not guaranteed accurate, and should be reviewed before you share, rely on, purchase from, or otherwise act on them. These features must not be used for identity verification, biometric profiling, face recognition, legal advice, medical decisions, or safety-critical purposes. You remain responsible for what you submit and for confirming that any translated result is appropriate for your own purposes.

9. Translation Accuracy

Translation features are provided for convenience only. Translations may vary by language pair, input quality, context, or provider response, so you should verify important information yourself before relying on it.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, content accuracy, and specific results, and we limit liability for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Service Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including language-practice tools, AI-assisted translation, purchases, or support processes.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are published means you accept the revised version.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
